Passion, preparation and commitment —three words consistently used to describe Susan Hirsch Lerner across the apparel, fitness, wellness and sustainability industries.

Since Susan was a teenager showing horses, she has known what it means to compete and win. She left Florida for Boston University's business school, but with parents who were entrepreneurs, she always knew that a “typical 9 to 5" was not part of her DNA.

Lord & Taylor launched Susan’s career, and over the next 15 years, she led business development for a variety of manufacturers - expanding their lines and creating a name for herself. Among many accomplishments, she built the kids' division of Juicy Couture from $8M to $33M in just four years.

With a passion for transforming ideas into reality, Susan formed the SHL Group in 2010 - a strategic consultancy helping clients of all sizes drive profits through dynamic product placement & creative marketing tactics while engaging internal resources and empowering talent.

In addition to being an experienced leader and effective communicator, Susan’s passion and zest for life are contagious. She's a workout junkie who enjoys the outdoors with her husband Steve and dog Yoda.  AND if you time it right, you might catch her at the gym with Jimmy Buffet on her headphones, humming along to Cheeseburger in Paradise. Floridian roots run deep!
